Improve your Posture? Improve your Pelvis.

This is a seated class, held on Zoom.

What if there were more to your posture story than throwing your shoulders back and pushing through your low back to “sit up straight”?

Those things can be painful to do!

Having good posture (that actually feels good) happens from the ground up.

In this short, but sweet class, we’ll try out some traditional posture ideas and how they feel in your body (yum or yuck?). Then we’ll experiment with a few Feldenkrais guided movement sequences to coax your pelvis out of stuck-ness. When your pelvis can move, this sets the tone for ease in your upper body. These small changes add up to a useful and easy posture so that living feels much better.

Once you realize that lasting change happens a little bit at a time, the sky’s the limit!
